And nice to see it from a parent's view - normally those advocating taking a gap year are the students themselves. I took a gap year, which was definitely the right choice for me. I didn't know what I wanted to do, all I wanted to do was travel so it gave me the chance to think about my future & at the same time gain some valuable skills. Great article.
