Hi I am doing a project looking into Goa and food so looking at habits,industry, security and the environment.
A couple of questions in regard to corporate control:
How does legislation work in regards to foreign corporate ownership of land within Goa? What are the implications of this?
Is land encroachment technically the legal buying up of land or illegal construction on land?
Also, in regards to shrimp farming - do you have local stories about the poisoning of ground water due to industrial farming techniques?
The research we are doing is focusing on particularity - therefore in information from people rather than purely academic resource - any opinions responses would be much appreciated from you or anyone else reading this blog.
